Kathy Stokes is a nationally recognized leader in the fraud arena. She leads AARP’s social mission work on fraud prevention – both to educate older adults on the risks that fraud represents to their financial security, and to advocate for a whole-of-society response to the fraud crisis. She and her team have vastly expanded the AARP Fraud Watch Network’s scope and impact, including creating a new victim support program and leading a campaign to change the narrative about fraud victims. Kathy has a master’s from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA from the University of Pittsburgh.
