Kathryn Zealand

Founder & CEO,
Skip
Kathryn’s entrepreneurial journey started by selling pet fish at age 12 to fund a DIY tesla coil. The decades since have been in small teams of smart people tackling huge problems. In 2019, wanting to help her grandmother, Kathryn started a wearable robotics project aiming to help a billion people move. After a few years of developing the tech and narrowing in product-market-fit, this became Skip. In addition to her qualifications in theoretical physics, Kathryn holds an MBA from Stanford and an MPA from Harvard. To offset being a chocoholic, Kathryn runs long distances very slowly.
