David has been integral to Sundberg-Ferar’s Innovation Strategy practice for over 10 years, and has led the practice in the past 4 years, working on challenges across education, transportation, and community services. Over the course of his career, he has been a designer at GM and ASC, was Lead Designer at Saleen where he penned the 2008 S5S Raptor supercar and 2010 Saleen S281, and led helmet design for Warrior, a New Balance brand. He is a graduate of the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit and stays active in the art community teaching design courses at CCS and leading the Michigan Design Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating and retaining industrial design talent in the state.
