From professional water polo in Italy to revolutionizing education technology, Elyse’s journey is marked by innovation and impact. A Princeton graduate (’07) and Teach For America alum who taught 8th grade algebra in Watts, she transitioned from the classroom to edtech leadership at 2U. There, she spent 9+ years on the marketing leadership team, steering the company through pre- and post-IPO phases and ultimately overseeing a $500M revenue channel as the Global Head of Organic Marketing & Revenue. Now, as Co-Founder of School’s Out, Elyse continues to transform education and shape the future of learning through AI and a deep commitment to community. Elyse and her family live in her hometown of Annapolis, MD but enjoy spending lots of time on the West Coast.
