Anabel is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of School’s Out, a company born out of her own frustrations as a working Mom of two young kids trying to plan summer schedules. A graduate of Davidson College (‘07) Anabel began her career in non-profit community building and fundraising at the Michael J. Fox Foundation and then the Painted Turtle, a SeriousFun camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. That interest in community building segued into technical customer success and experience at Stages Cycling and Harder Mechanical Contractors. A former competitive triathlete and cancer survivor, Anabel currently lives, runs and enjoys the amazing food landscape in Portland, OR with her family.
